I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with my Dad and some friends going on the adventure of a lifetime. The plan was to cross the wildness of Northern Arizona horseback following The Honeymoon Trail. Many of us are descendants of pioneers who traveled this trail with wagon trains and we wanted to live part of this history. We started at Lee’s Ferry where we had a tour guide give us some great history of the place including John D. Lee who ran the ferry back in the late 1800s and was great grandfather to our friend Ivin Lee who rode with us and who is pictured above in the black and white portrait. We headed to Cliff Dwellers and camped out for the night and prepped to start this amazing adventure. We had great food, great times shared around the campfire and enjoyed each others company seeing the beautiful sites along the way. The photographs don’t do this region justice and really nothing can truly represent the beauty of these views shared with great family and friends. I am so grateful to have been able to spend this time with my Dad.
